Notice to our customers:  We have a new 48 hour cancellation policy effective July 1, 2009.  If a class does not have the required number of students prior to 48 hours of the class date, the class may be canceled.  Register early to prevent a class from being canceled that you may be interested in.  Stop in or call today to reserve your spot. 

Payment must be made at time of registration. Thank you for your understanding.

About our classes:  BYOB (Bring Your Own Basics) Your basic tool kit is needed for all classes, if additional supplies are needed they will be included in the class description.


Our instructors will be happy to make you  a kit with full instructions if you are unable to attend a particular class.  When reserving your spot, just let us know you would like it to be kit. Once the class has taken place, your kit will be available for pick up at the front counter.  Our classes are normally 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours in length unless specified as a workshop which is 3 to 4 hours of instruction.

Unless otherwise specified, our classes are limited to ages 14 and up. Please, no infants or children in classes or crops.Crop Attendees must be age 16 or older.

Student cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance in order to receive credit towards another class.   Thank you for your understanding.

Creative Cards – Stylish Spring

Monday, March 15 at 10:30 AM -- $14 Instructor: Alissa

Celebrate spring in style! In this month's Creative Cards class, we'll create four stylish cards with the beautiful and happy colors of spring. Not only will we create an Easter card (other sentiments will be available if you wish to substitute), but we'll also make three other cheerful cards perfect for any occasion. Hoping to learn a technique or two? Want to use the new tools and products in the store? Well, we’ll do that, too! You’ll leave class with four completed paper crafted cards, detailed instructions and a color photograph of the samples. 

Introduction to Stamping

Monday, March 15 at 6:30 PM -- $10 Instructor: Skye

There seems to be a wealth of stamping products everywhere you look and although it looks simple enough, it can be quite intimidating in choosing the right products for a beginner. Join Skye as she teaches you about the types of inks, papers, and stamping tools available on the market today. Learn techniques of stamping such as embossing, omission, resist, and masking. With the skills you learn in this class you will be a stamping pro in no time. An intimate class setting with the instructor sitting across from you means you’ll be able to ask questions throughout the class on a variety of stamping subjects.

You will leave the class with instructional sheets containing a wealth of information about inks, papers, stamps and how to care for your stamping products along with a 12 page tag booklet with samples of all the techniques you have learned in class.

Crafty Wallets

Friday, March 19 at 6:30 PM -- $17 Instructor: Kimm

Need a super cute idea for a gift holder? In this class with Kimm you will learn fun stamping techniques to create adorable gift holders for both the guys and gals. Class participants will learn techniques for creating different faux surfaces, assembly of the gift holders and complete a mini purse and two wallets... all with paper and ink! Perfect for holding gift cards, small gifts, note holders or even wallet sized photos! Reproducible patterns will also be provided to take home.  In addition to your standard class kit, please bring ¼” red line tape and a bone folder.

Candy Crop – Saturday, March 20 from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM -- $7

Join us for our Candy Crop! There will be plenty of soda and candy at this crop. You’ll have 6 hours of uninterrupted cropping. Bring all your supplies and we will provide you with plenty of working space, as well as use of our die cut center. You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy our crops. Bring your stamping and paper arts supplies and enjoy 6 hours of creative time. Drawings for prizes too!

Copic Beyond the Basics – Barn Mini Scenes

Sunday, March 21 at 2:00 PM -- $27 Instructor: Kimm

Yearning for the warmth of summer? Building your Copic coloring skills? You’ll want to participate in this workshop with Kimm! This Copic Beyond the Basics workshop features a pair of beautifully drawn flower and barn mini scenes by Impression Obsession. Class participants will work on Copic marker techniques, shading skills, exercises to improve blending ability and layering colors across color groups. Kimm shares her step-by-step coloring strategies for this pair of exquisite images so you’ll be confident in your final results. Finished images will be nicely mounted and ready to display or frame. Please note: This class is workshop length and limited to 8 participants to allow for more personalized tutoring with Kimm. A color list of markers used in class will be provided in advance (Kimm highly recommends bringing your markers).

Scrapbooking 101

Tuesday, March 23 at 6:30 PM -- $10 Instructor: Liz

Are you intrigued by the scrapbooking phenomena? Do you want to see if it is right for you before you take the plunge? This class offers everything you need to know to get started scrapbooking. This class covers the basics – tools, adhesives, albums, etc. We will let you test drive different tools and adhesives so you can make an informed decision when you invest in the things you need to make your memories last forever. Bring 4-6 photos of any one event or theme and we’ll walk you through your first 12x12 layout.

QuicKutz Klub Meeting

Eclectica hosts a membership meeting each month for its QuicKutz Klub members. Through membership you receive a free 2x2 die each month, great monthly specials for members only and at each meeting you make a free make-n-take with the use of QuicKutz products. The biggest bonus is meeting and sharing with other fellow QuicKutz junkies. We host many swaps and give back to the community through donating cards to nursing homes and our Nation’s troops. Literally Stamping with Lenore – Sensational Spring Stamps

Saturday, March 27 at 10:30 AM -- $14 Instructor: Lenore

Join us and make 4 fun cards for the upcoming springtime "holidays". St. Patty's, Mothers day, Easter, and more! Have these great reproduce-able cards on hand for the busiest time of year. All levels are welcome; we will be doing special techniques such as Braying, Emboss Resist, and even making our own patterned paper! You'll be sure to keep using these universal cards for the months to come.  As always you will have a variety of sentiments to choose from, so the creativity is endless, all you need is paper snips and some glue!

Cross Over Book

Saturday, March 27 at 1:30 PM -- $14 Instructor: Cheryl

You will love making this fun and easy book. Join Cheryl as she leads you through the construction of this unique cross over book. Cheryl will have you stamping, painting pages for backgrounds and even making your own paper beads for embellishing this beautiful cross over book. Please note: Along with your basic tool kit, please bring a paper piercer if you have one.

 Everything But The Kitchen Sink - Mini Book

Thursday, April 8 at 6:30 PM -- $18                      Instructor: Chelsea

Have you felt uninspired lately but want to get those creative juices flowing again? Join Chelsea for a truly unique mini book class that will bring together all of the techniques that you have grown to love.  From acrylic and chipboard to envelopes and cardboard, this mini book has everything but the kitchen sink! Perfect for almost all photos, the mini book has a classic color palette to allow for some unusual materials and techniques. Grab your class tool kits and get ready for a class that will push your limits on paper crafting!  In addition to your basic supplies, please bring glue dots and a strong liquid adhesive.

For this special night we bring you two of our very talented scrapbook instructors, Rhonda and Liz.  They are ready to lead you through eight (8) 12 x 12 pages, which consist of 4 single 12x12 page layouts & 2 double 12x12  page layouts. No holding back here, these girls have got talent and you will be amazed at the new techniques and ideas you leave class with. You will be taking a small break, so be sure and bring yourself a snack to keep your energy level going!   Themes this month include: Travel, Friends, Be Unique, April Showers, Mom and Family.

 Literally Stamping with Lenore April Showers Bring … Babies!

This month with Literally Stamping with Lenore, we will be making 4 cards catered to those friends and family members who are expecting or just had a little one join the family.  We will use several techniques including: basic COPIC coloring, Flowersoft, as well as an "inchie" inspired design! All you need is paper snips and glue/adhesive. This class will have fun easy additions to your card collections that you can make again and again for friends and family. Please note:  Unfortunately this class cannot be made into a kit.

 "Sentiments for Mother" Double-Swing Chipboard book   

Monday, April 12 at 6:30 PM -- $17       Instructor: Skye                                          

It flips to the left, it flips to the right, and each flip exposes a new twist on mix 'n match sentiments. This Gatefold album bound on both sides with the Bind-it-All system was custom-designed by Skye.  It features the new Lush line by My Mind's Eye in pink and blue. With flocked paper, matching ribbons, and flowers, this album is sure to please. The mix 'n match sentiments are suitable for a book that's given to your mother, your grown daughter, or a fabulous mom friend. Watch for the sample in the store! In addition to your basic supply kit, please bring a glue stick or other adhesive for adhering paper to chipboard.

 Mom’s Menu Board

Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 PM -- $20   Instructor: Alissa  

 Keep track of what's for dinner, your grocery list or notes to the family on this altered wooden chalkboard! A perfect Mother's Day gift for the women in your life... or for yourself! This large menu board (approximately 11x14") can either hang on the wall or sit in a plate stand on the counter. Altered with kitchen-appropriate papers and embellishments, it's sure to kick your kitchen decor up a notch!  Even if you've never "altered" before, this is the perfect class to get your feet wet, but will thrill papercrafters of all levels.  In addition to your basic tool kit, please bring a bottle of matte Mod Podge and a foam brush (necessary for kitchen splatter proofing)!

 Fast Formulas for Fabulous Pages

Thursday, April 15 at 6:30 PM -- $15                        Instructor: Liz

With warmer weather just around the corner, are you ready to get more from every scrapbooking minute you have? Then you won’t want to miss this class. Liz will guide you through the process of using three formulas (sketches) to create some truly unique pages. You’ll leave class with three photo-ready layouts, instructions, and new skills for creating fabulous pages at home. Once you scrapbook using the formula method, you'll be amazed at how productive even the most limited time can become. And remember the pages may not take a lot of time, but they’re definitely not short on creativity!

 Copic Beyond the Basics – Soft Roses

A delicate rose image by Impression Obsession becomes the main focal point for this wonderfully layered and embellished card. In this workshop, class participants learn how to do each technique to complete this gorgeous 5x7 card. Kimm will guide you through creating the backgrounds and coloring the main image with Copic markers. Kimm will share coloring strategies and help each participant with shading, contouring and highlighting their beautiful rose image. Participants will go home with their completed artwork (suitable for framing if desired) along with a spare image for further practice.

 St Jude 24-Hour Crop

Friday, April 23 at 5:00 PM till Saturday, April 24 at 5:00 PM -- $65 per person

We are hosting our annual 24 hour St Jude crop and what a worthy cause.  As a participant you will receive a goody bag of papercrafting supplies great for scrapbooking, card making or altered projects, along with lots of other perks.  A portion of your crop fee will go directly to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and you are more than welcome to collect additional donations from family and friends.  Bring all your supplies and we will provide you with plenty of work space, as well as use of our die cut center.  You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy our crops.  Bring your stamping and paper art supplies and enjoy 24 hours of creative time.  We will provide you with dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.   You are welcome to bring snacks to keep your energy level going.  We’ll have drawings for prizes and plenty of fun. If you can only support one cause a year, please consider this one.

 Little Vintage Book

Tuesday, April 27 at 6:30 PM -- $16                           Instructor: Cheryl

This little vintage book would make a great gift or simply set it on your coffee table for a show piece. The book is made from small wood frames. We will be using Utee in the melting pot, glass beads, ribbon, and more. There will be quotes, sayings or simple words available for your use or you may bring your own.  I suggest that you print them on a light beige cardstock, vellum or a vintage type paper. The book pages measure approximately 3 x 3, so consider that you may have to tear some of your saying apart when printing yours at home. This is a class full of technique and style, a must to take!  Please note: In addition to your basic supplies, please bring pop dots, mini dots and a distresser (if you have one).
